ND,

That is amazing! That post really brought tears of joy to my eyes, and please tell him I am so happy for him. His life is going to be a lot different, and without having that call of alcohol he will be able to have joy back in his life.

I was so afraid that TSM wasn't going to help him, but it just goes to show you that a brain with an addiction, regardless of circumstances, is a brain with an addiction.

I hope those counselors that wanted him to do a program with AA are just as impressed, and maybe open to the idea that AA isn't always the way.

I think Dr. Eskapa may be interested in his progress as well, for I do not know how many patients he has seen with disabilities that have done TSM (I may be wrong). I do remember reading somewhere that people with disabilities that have alcohol issues are not receiving the services they need, and if they are receiving services it is AA based (and we all know how well that works).

Again, please express to Mr. ND how happy we are for him, and I how impressed I am! You, my dear, must have enough patience to become a saint, for what you have helped him accomplished would not have happened without you.

Keep us posted,

Jaba
