Hi Guys

I was thinking about the recommended 1 hour wait for NAL to take effect and thought ...
"Why don't I just let it sit under my tongue?" (its common practice in both medical & recreational world)
As I see it, It would take minutes to be absorbed into the blood stream via all the blood vessels.

FYI: My NAL's are uncoated so as soon as they hit the mouth they start breaking down.

Anyhow, just a thought ... They do taste disgusting
I was wondering if anyone had tried this, considered it or perhaps asked their doctor.

I am thinking I should put a 1/4 under the tongue in an emergency (drinking about to start) & swallow the other 3/4 normally.

Regards
BeerYoda

In an emergency, I suppose you could powder the whole thing and leave the powder in your mouth to dissolve as quickly as possible. If it were me, I think I'd also take another tablet in the usual manner to kick in later and keep the nal's protection active. Or half a tablet and half a tablet, perhaps, if I were afraid of a double dose of nal.

What emergency, though? Are there still times when you feel like you can't wait an hour? Or is this just hypothetical?
