Post subject:  Board Guidelines & Rules

Hopefully we are all civilized adults so we're not going to put forth much in the way of guidelines, rules and so on. Keep the discussions civil and use language you could use around your grandmother. This is not a board for children so adult language and topics are okay, within reason, but pointless profanity is not. Use your best judgment.

Dissent is allowed and in fact, we welcome it. You may criticize The Sinclair Method and raise legitimate questions as to its efficacy, safety, etc. If you do so, be ready to defend your viewpoint with scientifically sound data, not an appeal to "The Big Book". We hope you will engage the other board members in a healthy discussion of your points that will lead to greater knowledge and understanding by everyone involved, including yourself.

The administrators and moderators have the permission and power to edit or delete any post for any reason. If we edit your post, the fact and general nature of the edit will be inserted into your post so others know that what they are reading isn't necessarily exactly what you wrote (i.e., we don't want to put words in your mouth).

Finally, the board administrators may ban, temporarily or permanently, any user by name, e-mail address, IP address or a combination of the above. This will usually not come without warning and is generally reserved for disruptors, spammers, trolls and other unsavory individuals.

That's it. Thanks for reading and enjoy the forums!
