I am not sure if 2 weeks with no alcohol and no desire makes him cured...if so then count Lynn's Husband as cured!!!!!

Hello Seeking 1

Congratulations on your remarkable journey. Jeeze, two years! What perserverence you have. But like you and others have said, taking Nal put you in a better position of control so why not continue until a cure was at hand. Just awesome! I find your post so inspirational being at the 10 month mark with SOME headway gained. Thank you for telling us about your results.

Best wishes,

if Nal is working even a little for you, stick with it. Make whatever other lifestyle adjustments you feel might help, work on elements like habit if you can once you've reached your plateau, and let time pass. And more time, and more. I figured on Nal for a lifetime long before I got my recent amazing results -- Nal wasn't perfect but was by far the best solution I'd found. Any "efforts" I made I wouldn't have been able to make without the pharmaceutical extinction.

So true, Seeking1. Congrats to you, you are an inspiration to many!

Hey Seeking1,

Thank you for the post. I am at the end of my 12th month and been on a long plateau for a while, but I would say I am 80% better as a person, husband, worker, father, despite my continuing problem with late night vodka.

I can 'feel' that I am getting better in ways that I can't really describe....although a first AF day for me today in a long while.

Your post gives me hope. Thank you and congrats.
