Hello,

It has been almost a year since I declared myself cured after 12 weeks of using TSM. I really have had no changes since my last report in March besides the fact that I continue to drink less. Maybe 1 or 2 units a month. Never in a thousand years would I have imagined that nor was it ever my goal.

Looking at the post that lists myself as one of the fastest cured (12 weeks) is very humbling, as I am so grateful that TSM was SO effective for me. I have drank without Nal about 3 or 4 times because I had none on hand. I made sure not to do this more than once in a row, and I have felt no regression in the complete lack of desire to drink. I don't plan on making it a habit, but I am not as worried about it as when I was starting out.

I estimate I have saved at least $15,000 US in the last year. This of course doesn't count the big disaster that was approaching due to my behavior.
Life is good. Continued good luck and progress to all the TSM'ers, new and old.

Pacman

WOW!!! Thanks for coming on here to update everyone. It helps so many others. I think that this is great encouragement for people to start taking NAL. Although not everyone will have such quick and drastic success, I really believe that the VAST majority of us get some kind of benefit from taking it.

Still going strong. Rarely drink anymore. Have had a couple nights where I failed to take nal and was a little hungover the next day. No instant reverting back to the bad days, but there was "more enjoyment" than normal in the drinking by the second consecutive (a week later) drinking session without nal, and that was enough to scare me into taking it 3 weeks later when I drank again.

On a side note, I have tripled my income in this bad economy since going on nal. My life is seriously on track and so much more enjoyable.

Congratulations and thank you for continuing to update your thread from time to time. It's wonderful to know that you've been able to stay cured.

Started TSM Aug 2012. Had some success but over time the Nal SEs were so awful that stopped taking Nal. Managed a 30 day (Sept 2012) and 46 day (Feb/Mar 2013) AF period which also contributed to getting drinking under control.

Yes, thanks for your updates! So encouraging to those of us still slogging through.

All the best.

10 years later and still going strong. Lots of life changes and ups and downs, but Ive never fell completely down the hole I was in before Nal. I was put on gabapentin for a spinal cord injury and that has only added to my distaste for AL. Ive had maybe 4 beers in almost a year. Definitely drink too much diet soda, but I can live with that. Also lost over a hundred pounds, so there are other benefits!
