@davidstvz Thanks for the comment! I am doing very well. I now drink two to three times per week instead of every night, as I did for the first months. It used to be hard to spend a day or several days sober in between drinking sessions, but now it is easy. This is because the longer you drink on naltrexone, the more of the “addictive wiring” in the brain is removed. After over two decades of periodic binges which landed me in hospitals, jails, and treatment, I have control of my drinking.

Man, am I glad to hear Ben is doing ok. Hopefully he will come back and post an update on TSM board but just knowing he's still got AL under control is a relief. I was really rooting for him to succeed and despite his setback (drinking off NAL) he seems to be doing just fine from his comment.

Great news. Glad to see he's doing well. he had deleted his facebook and sort of disappeared for a while and he told me he had gone off the Nal again like I mentioned before.

lesson: don't drink without the Nal kids. Ben never came here that often. he did most of his TSM rallying on youtube and a little on facebook and blogs. Just like all the cured folks, he's drifting away. we all get the urge to shout from the rooftops, then as timem goes on, we realize the world just doesn't care. sad but true.

If TSM really cured 78% in 3-4 months, I think it would be different, but given the books sensationalism and inaccuracies, I see why people are skeptical

plus as we all know the 12 step cults are powerful and cockblock everything new
