Hi All,

Your supportive posts are phenomenal! I am a wine drinker. I don't crave, drink 3-5 times per week, mostly keeping it in check and sometimes get drunk. I HATE it when I get drunk and have no control. I can easily go for months without drinking. I want to drink like a normal person... LOL what is normal?

I order the Nal through River pharmacy and have had days where it is wow, I don't want another drink and others where I got plastered! Thank you for this site as I would have called it quits had I not learned this is part of the process.

Questions:
1) Do you think the River pharmacy product is good?
2) Seems it is cheaper at https://www.alldaychemist.com - does anyone know if their product is good?

MOST IMPORTANT
My mother is an alcoholic and is eager to try Nal. I do not want to prescribe it to her, would rather her be monitored by a doctor - she's 69 - does anyone know of supportive docs in Vancouver, BC, Canada area?

Thanks so much,

Inspired ;)

I ordered my first batch from allday and it seemed to work fine. i've heard of several here who've done so with success as well.

As for your mother, check the sinclair doctors section of this site and if there's no answer start a thread with your question in the title. If you can't find one, call some addiction docs and ask if they prescribe Nalrexone. you could give them a copy of the book, maybe they would be receptive, mine was. worst come to worst, she could get a script under the old instructions and do TSM anyway. they would gladly check her liver i'm sure, which I see as important given her age.

I'm not a doctor but a TSM'er good luck
