Hello. I am very new here. Years ago, before I knew about the Sinclair Method, I bought some ReVia online. I forgot I had it and recently started taking it while I waited for my new meds to arrive in the mail (after learning about TSM). They were expired so I thought, "I'll give it a shot and just see what happens." The first two times I took ReVia and drank, it was amazing. Like many others, there was no rush or ZING with that first sip, something felt missing, like the addicted monkey on my back. Well, then the new meds arrived in the form of Nordict. I took a full one, which looking back was a mistake, and whoa, I felt like I was going to crawl out of my skin. HOT, sweaty, anxiety, couldn't concentrate, I ended up drinking an entire bottle of wine in an effort to calm myself down. I took half of one the next time and although the effects were milder, I felt the same. So I thought I'd give the old expired ReVia a shot again and it certainly didn't seem to work as well as it had the first two times.

I understand that I am kind of willy nilly here, so my question is, do some people react better to other forms of Naltrexone? I know for example, that my endo insists I take a particular name brand for my thyroid medication. Has anyone else here had a similar experience with Nordict? Is it common to feel so sick and crazy when starting this process and the side effects lessen with time? I was SO excited with how different drinking felt when I took those expired ReVia the first two times and now I am scared to take anything.

I'm on nordict from a week. sides are heavy, expecially dizzy and confused behaviour and I'm a quite trained guy of 220 lbs of 40...not a leaf. tomorrow I'm recieving new parcel from another shop, hoping not nordict again. I will post the difference between compound I feel indeed

Naltima from alldaychemist.com seems to work well for people (myself included). It sucks, though, that we all have to wait so long for the Rx. to arrive.

Thanks everyone. I had come across that thread re: Nordict not working for TSM and it wasn't so much that it didn't work, rather I felt insane. Yes, Toni, confused, high anxiety, extremely hot, just awful. I took it while at home, I can't imagine taking it and functioning at an event in public. The side effects were that bad. Toni, please do report back on your new meds. It's so expensive to buy, especially ReVia, so I'd like to hear more experiences from other people before I buy another round.

nothings to do. tried ordering from canadian pharmacy and again I recieved nordict...
it will be hard to find no-nordict brand avaliable to be shipped here... btw,except heavy sides, I wont believe nordict doesn t work at all.

Just checking back. Not long after posting this, I found out I was pregnant! Surprise! A miracle, actually.

Anyway, I want to try the Sinclair Method again but I am terrified of taking Nordict again. I felt crazy.

not sure what to suggest other than getting some Nal that isn't Nordict? I've just ordered some Nal from River Pharmacy & they offer a choice Naltima & Nordict
