This drives me nuts. Skipping the pill
is easy, but you know what else is easy? Taking a pill. Much easier than trying to white-knuckle through cravings and avoid triggers for the next couple of years (or for life). The willpower it takes to take a pill is minuscule compared to abstaining "one day at a time", especially considering that with TSM the desire for alcohol begins to wane as opposed to abstaining where it actually intensifies - the scary metaphorical disease out in the parking lot doing push-ups.
