I was 3 months in to the Sinclair Method when I had a bad road accident and serious injuries. I had to stop taking naltrexone and spent 8 weeks on opioid pain killers, without drinking ... until week 8. That didn’t go well, of course, so I came off the pain killers and have begun taking naltrexone again. The first time around on the naltrexone- last year - I got immediate results, with the amount I was drinking reducing dramatically. This time around, since the accident, I am not experiencing the same results at all. I’m wondering if the 8 weeks on opioids has somehow rendered me immune to the Sinclair Method?

Some do and some don't have an immediate reaction to the Nal, Sutt. Take a look at this page, under "What Should You Expect to Happen?":

https://www.the-sinclair-method.com/the ... -drinking/

Also search on "Honeymoon" on this board for more info.
