The main message of these articles is that there is no safe level of drinking. When I read these articles I noticed myself having the reaction that I don't want to hear this message. I suppose that reaction is telling regarding the grip that alcohol has on me and how it has restructured my brain and thought process. I take solace in the hope that TSM will ultimately work to change this. Obviously I have not been cured yet. (I'm only 2 months in by the way).

Deuce, even though the book mentions 3 months, many people find it takes 6 months or longer to reach a point where you're indifferent towards alcohol, so hang in there and keep posting progress reports.

Actually, I am interested to figure out a way of most efficiently managing my intake of Naltrexone in a way that maximizes the reinforcement mechanism for healthy activities. Specifically, how many days do I have to be off Naltrexone and alcohol for my brain to return to normal endorphin production / reception?

If anyone has an answer I'd appreciate it. (Apologies if this question has been asked before).

It varies, but the standard target is the 2nd afternoon after your last dose.
