Dr Eskapa I started Naltrexone 5 days ago. My drinking pattern is to usually not drink Sun-Wed as i work Mon-Thur. I then drink thur-sat nights. During those nights i average 45-55 units in total. I don't want to change this pattern as drinking impairs my ability to do my job. I have two questions. 1.My question relates to doing activities that release endorphins on my AF days. Your book mentions people eventually reaching a point where they can plan a weekend without alcohol or naltrexone and plan for an enjoyable activity on the sunday. As i regularly have AF days can i start building these in immedietly? 2. Before discovering your book I had been using Patrick Holford's 'how to quit without feeling S**t' and following his regimen of using amino acid supplements like L-tyrosine, GABA and 5HTP building up to quitting. I am concerned that there may be an interaction with the Naltrexone or their effectiveness may be inhibited. Thank you
