 Post subject: naltrexone absorption

i find that after my first drink of the day i am often sick. Could you please advise whether the naltrexone would still be in my system if i have taken it 1 hour before this, or is it advisable to take another ?

It may be a while before you get a response from Dr. Eskapa as he is not on the board regularly but this has come up before. This thread discusses naltrexone absorption/metabolism

If your concern is you have vomited the naltrexone then try taking your nal 2 hours before you drink with some food to ensure complete absorption even if you then became ill it should be completely absorbed.

Not giving advice, but I struggle with absorption. Nal is available as a shot--called vivitrol. I am still struggling and fighting, not cured--but I can say it has helped me so far.
