Dr. Eskapa,
I am a medical physician and and a "recovering" alcoholic. I am interested in applying the Sinclair method but I can only find the reference to the dosing while still drinking in the O'Malley paper (1992). Is there any other evidence apart from the testimonials that demonstrate specifically that this dose timing is the only appropriate one? I also understand from the literature that 50 mg seems to be the ideal dose but is there any set of circumstances that would change the dosage either up or down?
