aside from getting rid of the alcohol high, will naltrexne, when taken per TSM, prevent alcohol from making you sleepy?

In my experience, I get MORE sleepy. It's like the 'gotta stay up all night and party' part of alcohol is gone. Fine with me, as that's the part that got me in trouble. But it DOES still make me tired to drink. I'd say more so...

Backing what sober_girl said. I never understood people who said alcohol makes them sleepy. On naltrexone, it makes me drowsy almost immediately.

Magda, I am so with you!! Alcohol always made me high as hell. I could not sleep at all until I passed out. Sometimes, that was the break of dawn! Sounds like we have a lot in common.

Hallelujah. I never used to go to sleep until I was staggering drunk and passing out. Now, with the high blocked, I actually notice the sedative effects instead of pushing past them.
