Good Evening,
I've been taking Naltrexone for almost two weeks and have been on TSM for 10 days. I have noticed three distinct side effects and was wondering if they are common. The side effects are as follows:
- Congestion. I seem to have a problem with mucous. It gathers in my sinuses and ends up in my chest, especially at night. I can cough it out in the morning, but it returns each evening. It's white, so it doesn't seem to be an infection. When sleeping I am wheezing and it is worse if I sleep on my left side rather than my right side. There is almost a crystalline sound to my breathing while sleeping, sort of like someone that has advanced lung disease. But once I am up and around this passes. I have never smoked in my life.
- Stretching. When taking the medication I have this overwhelming urge to stretch all of the time. It's like I've just woken up every 30 minutes or so.
- Stomach. It seems that I have gas all of the time and my stomach is upset most of the time.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Nausea is a known side effect of Naltrexone, the other things you mention are not.
