Very interesting. This reminds me of the other studies where the subjects were given naltrexone and told to abstain and only the "cheaters" who kept on drinking in spite of the instructions had their consumption reduced. This would appear to be another study where the results showed that TSM works, almost by accident. From what we know of self-described "heavy drinkers", their denial and under-reporting of consumption levels, the majority in this group are probably dependent upon alcohol and they had the best reductions in their consumption. More proof that TSM works. I will be so happy for the day that the medical establishment wakes up and openly tests naltrexone with proper instructions of continued drinking...
