On one of the Irish morning radio programs Today FM there was an item about a brand new pill that will be available to alcoholics to curb drinking. Apparrently its a brand new approach to alcoholism . LOL. One only needs to take it before they go out drinking and in studies its proving to be very benificial. The program is Ray Darcys morning show and I listened back to it, its very brief and just references the writer of the article who is Rebbecca Smyth and the article is in the telegraph. Both are easy to find by just googling either Ray Darcy on Today fm or the telegraph and Rebecca Smyth.

The drug is nalfamine and is not yet available but we all know its just a refined version of naltrexone

One way or the other its good news

The news about nalfimine was reported in the front page of the Irish Independent yesterday as well. I think this is something concrete that we Irish who find it difficult to get nal online can bring to a gp's office to ask to have naltrexone scripted.
