I am so sorry i am not able to post as I think it would compromise my anonymity not that I really care....

You guys all said it so well. I'm not really worried about the few AAers that were hating. Most were very receptive including the AAers that were not miserable. The folks that are bashing AA are on dry drunks and miserable. Awaiting that sad relapse into hell. Hopefully they'll consider TSM if they ever relapse.

The one thing I worry about is folks that intentionally relapse to try TSM. I know we all say not to do that, but I can imagine being in those meetings and my mind racing.....

BTW,...2.15AM listening to RUBBER SOUL and completely sober. I cannot say I made it two days AF though. I've had a half glass of wine and 2 ounces of vodka. I will hAVE MORE but to quote Crown or Joe12, I'm going to intentionally try to not get drunk. I am still happy on my 1 year anniversary not to be smashed. My best, Jim

Joe,

What name are you using on Newsweek because I see two replies under john's drivel, mine and "Donald Quinn". Donald says his last drink was 4 years ago, so that can't be you.

Bob

My comment was there under that cunning baffling guy's when you and Quinn commented. I deleted mine the other day because I likes you guys' comments better. Mine was a little hot under the collar and yours were more in line with what those AA folks would see as sobriety. I'm still not sure it matters if I get a little aggressive with them in a place like that, but you guys' comments were both poignant and prudent. thanks

I think quinn may have been niacin man

I also posted, as Kimberly. I don't have direct AA experience, but it infuriated me that people would make blanket statements against TSM, with little to no information. Joe12, I wish I had seen your responses ... sounds like they would have made me laugh and cheer!

oh, my first response is still there if you scroll way down. I am billybaroo. I just can't help being a smartass. and my comments are mostly still there under other people's posts too. but when I got into calling people simpleton robotic sheep I think I may have been just wanting to provoke people, so I deleted.
