Just got back from a visit to a doctor who was willing to prescribe me Naltrexone. My local GP wouldn't. So I did a search and found a practice that mentioned Naltrexone.

The practice is East Sydney Doctors. Their specialist in alcohol abuse is evidently an abstinence advocate. Luckily for me he was not there this week.

Instead I got to talk to a Dr Farr. Who talked to me for a while and had heard of TSM. She prescribed my 50mg Naltrexone.

I heard about TSM from Claudia's autobiography. So I have seen the film. Now reading The Cure for Alcoholism.

My one disappointment for the book. Is that being visually impaired. I'd rather have it as an audiobook. But I'm getting through it. Just a bit slower.
