Has anyone had a good experience with a provider in the Kaiser Permanente system in the Portland, Oregon, area? I recently had to change primary care doctors because my old one left, so I don't have a relationship with a current provider yet in the network.

About all I can say about that is that last I heard, Kaiser didn't have a problem with prescribing oral Naltrexone prn to be taken an hour before drinking.

In the "Uses" section: "It can help people drink less alcohol or stop drinking altogether. It also decreases the desire to drink alcohol when used with a treatment program that includes counseling, support, and lifestyle changes."

Anybody in the Portland area that can help Doug out with a referral to a good Kaiser doc?
