Is it appropriate to suggest that anyone who cannot find a prescribing physician might try River Pharmacy? I respect this company, as they do not carry pain meds or other addictive narcotics. . .but do sell helpful products such as Naltrexone. (This company can be Googled.)

Yup, perfectly appropriate. As long as U.S. doctors are going to be ignorant buttheads, people gotta do what they can.

I ordered from River. My order was shipped from the UK. On the zip lock baggie I received is a label with an 1-866 number on it.

This number is not River Pharmacy. It takes one to a nice person in India (a former River subcontractor?) who is pirating Rivers reorders.

Just a heads-up. River has been notified.

Whoa, there, new fella. Since this is your first post, you might stop to tell us who you are and what you ordered before you drop a bombshell like that.

Many on this board order from River and no one has ever reported a problem. Many more of us are from MyWayOut, a site that provides a link to River, and hundreds if not thousands on that site have ordered from River and no credible problems reported. The only reason to "shop" away from River is that they tend to be pricey by comparison.

So, in light of this track record, you post THIS??

Explain, please.

I have spoken to a lady from River and she was in Manitoba, last I checked, it isn't India.

I have ordered from River 3 times. The first was Topa, which got here in about 2 1/2 weeks. The second was my first nal, which arrived in under 2 weeks. I'm awaiting my next nal, which should be here in 10 days or so.

The meds come from India, as noted on the River site, so it should be no surprise if some of the packing materials contain a phone # from India. So far River has a perfect record with me.

Nothing to see here, folks - move along.

I believe some of the off shore pharmacies sub-contract their orders to other pharmacies.

And they have addresses and phone #'s all over the globe to stay ahead of changes in laws that would preclude our benefiting from their business.

BTW I checked the 866 # on the sticker on my zip baggie the nal came in from River and it is a sort of clearing house from India. They have some sort of relation to River and said if I was happy w/ past service I should continue to order online.

So our new Bob was not entirely off the mark (strange to be given an 866 # that is not River) but I still think it's a big leap from that to assuming someone is hijacking River's orders.

It's important to have that trust factor. A post on mywayout said her Campral was seized and she was notified by customs they were counterfit. The online pharmacy was DRUGDELIVERY.CA FYI.
