Yes, that's right. And don't say, "I want naltrexone so I can drink on it." You are way better off saying something like, "I want to take naltrexone to treat my drinking habit. I don't intend to continue drinking." A slight bend in the truth, but not really, some day you will no longer intend to continue drinking.

As Eskapa says over and over again, naltrexone doesn't work with abstinence -- you have to be drinking while on naltrexone for TSM to work. But most doctors don't like the idea of continued drinking so you may have to spout the party line about intending abstinence in order to get the prescription.
Also, keep in mind that General Practitioners are now authorized to prescribe naltrexone as indicated in this recent New York Times article.
